Sunshine, Rainbows and Snow

Snow!
Snow day two for kids.
No school.
Two days ago was snow
Today it is brutally cold.

What better way to brighten a day than
with pancakes.
Not just any pancakes.

This idea came from here. I have to admit
that mine did not turn out perfectly.
I was juggling my 10 month
old and
mixing colors.
They were something fun for the
kids none the less.

I had used a mix since I was limited with
time. You could easily use
a recipe from here as well
if you don't want to
go through the trouble
of making it from scrap and prefer
to be a bit more frugal and make
your own dry mix so that
all you need to do is add wet ingredients in
the morning.

  2. Thanks so much for posting this! I made them last night for dinner and add a small dollop of whipped cream on top for the clouds. The kids really flipped over them!
